Warm Room Initiative

Melbourne Parish Council has collected information on local groups that are open to all members of the Parish, and that offer a warm space for people facing difficulties during the current cost of living crisis. These groups meet regularly, and details on dates, locations and times are below.

Community Care, Coffee & Company - 1st Tuesday of the month, 2pm until 4pm

Soup and Pudding Club - Wednesdays fortnightly, 12noon until 1.30pm

Wednesday Group - Wednesdays, 9.30am until 11.30am

Operatic Society - Tuesdays, 7.30pm until 9.30pm

Inner Wheel - 3rd Monday of the month, 11am until 1pm

Table Tennis Bat & Chat - Tuesdays, 2pm until 4pm

U3A - 1st Thursday of the month, enquire directly for times, groups & topics

Library - Monday 2pm until 5pm, Wednesday 2pm until 5.30pm, Friday 9am until 7.30pm

Bridge Club - Tuesdays, 2pm until 4pm

Caring Hands - Tuesdays, 2pm until 3pm

Women's Institute - 2nd Tuesday of the month, 7pm

Tiddlywinks - Mondays, 10am until 11.30am (only during school term time)

9 months Baby Group - Tuesdays, 9.30 until 11.30am

Splash - 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, 9am until 10.45am

Craft Easy - 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, 10am until 12noon

Afternoon Tea Service - 3rd Tuesday of the month, 2.30pm

Coffee morning - 1st Saturday of the month, 10am until 12noon

Messy Church - 1st Sunday of the month, 3pm

Knitting Group - Tuesdays, 1.30pm

Ladies Bright Hour - Wednesdays, 2pm until 4pm

Coffee Morning - 3rd Saturday of the month, 10am until 2pm

Family Bingo - 3rd Friday of the month, 7pm
