Very recently it was necessary for someone to access the defibrillator at Church Square, unfortunately someone had parked so close to the defibrillator that access to it was difficult and vital minutes were lost. The parish council expressed concerns about the work being undertaken today on Church Street and the associated road closure which would clash with the road closures for the Wakes.

The recycling bins in the High Street car park have been removed. The Samaritans charity collector (textiles and shoes) and the DDC operated small electricals will remain. Please do not leave any rubbish in the carpark, this is flytipping for which fines can and have been, imposed.

There are three defibrillators located in the parish, soon to be four.
One at the public toilets (High Street), one at Melbourne Fire Station and one at Church Square.
