Notice is hereby given that due to the resignation of Councillor Thomas Gates, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.

The parish council extends its thanks and appreciation to the couple who on Sunday morning were out clearing up the mess around the bench opposite Sainsbury's; mess left by Saturday night drunks, this included vomit. Vandalism at the public toilets

Over the last few weeks the Parish Council has noticed increasing levels of vandalism beginning to take place at the new toilets

Tree works at the Old Burial Ground

The Parish Council will undertake works to the trees at the Old Burial Ground in Castle Street this autumn.

Following consultation with the South Derbyshire District Council tree officer, and in agreement with the Parochial Church Council, works will be to sympathetically prune native trees and remove trees alien to the area.
